Ndapewa is the Founder of Oleaq Wines, a company driven by the goal of democratising the wine industry and making it more accessible. Through Oleaq, Ndapewa brings over a decade’s worth of conservation and climate change work into the wine industry, advocating for social justice by working with underrepresented wineries, winemakers and individuals who value sustainability.
Ndapewa’s career has been marked by her collaboration with both international grassroots organizations and local entities. In recognition of her contributions, Ndapewa is a Women for the Environment Africa (WE Africa) 2024 Fellow and in 2017, was honoured with the “Supporting Climate Change Leaders” grant by the International Development and Research Centre.
Being Namibian, Ndapewa possesses a profound connection to nature. Her upbringing has instilled in her a genuine appreciation for the intricate relationship between people and their environment, motivating her to champion and foster inclusivity.
Ndapewa possesses a WSET 2 certification and is currently working on WSET 3. In addition, she has a MSc in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from the University of Cape Town. She splits her time between Namibia and Germany, allowing her to build bridges between the two worlds.
